4th in the F1000 Championship!
After an eventful first season Teamwoodspeed have come out with a strong performance, showing promise for 2009!
The Patriot Stages rally in Wales in October delivered a blow to the team's championship hopes, a crash on stage 5 putting the pair out of the rally. The car was repaired and back out for the next round though.
After the final round at Anglesey Race Circuit on 8th and 9th of November, Joe secured a whopping 4th place in the Formula 1000 Tarmac Rally Championship. Paul, unable to attend the last rally of the season also came home in the top 10 in the co-driver championship, finishing 9th.
The Micra will be returning again in 2009 for its second season, and with Joe gunning for an even stronger finish. Meanwhile Paul has sold the Fiesta and will be leading his own rally campaign for 2009 in a car yet to be unveiled.
