Maiden victory for Joe in Anglesey
Joe and the Micra finally make it to the top of the standings!
Joe, and stand in co-driver Jon Payton had a five second lead after SS1. Despite a gear selection problem on the third stage, the pair were still leading at the lunch halt. Boiling brake fluid was sorted with a bleed of the system, and the rest of the rally was plain sailing as the Micra was taken to first place by over 20 seconds.
Joe now finds himself at the top of the driver standings, going into the next round. Could this be Taylor’s year?
