Things may have gone quiet in the news section, but that’s not to say the team have taken their finger off the pulse.
The winter rebuild has consisted of a complete engine and suspension rebuild, with the car prepared from a rolling shell. Paul explains: “We’ve come a long way with the car, but with so much still to do before the first rally in May we are still putting in 110%.”
One major issue to contend with is returning the car to UK plates, which means registering with the DVLA, applying for a road logbook and then a new MSA logbook. This makes the remaining month a tight timescale to get the Woodford brothers to the first special stage on the morning of May 9th, but the team are confident things will go to plan.
With a long list of mechanical checks and work to be
completed on the rally car, everyone will be working hard to make sure the car
arrives in Lincolnshire ready to
perform.
The team and rally organisers are hoping for plenty of support at Blyton for the Jack Neal Memorial Stages rally. See www.cdmconline.co.uk for more information about the rally.
