Teamwoodspeed Ka sold
The factory spec Ford Ka rally car campaigned in 2009 by Paul and Mike Woodford has been sold to Chris Clark for the 2010 season.
The former Nova driver has returned to rallying following a break and has big plans for the car over the coming months. As Paul explains:
“Chris only picked up the car last weekend, and rumour has it he’s already been onto WRC engine builders Mountune about a 1400 Zetec. It’s great to see the car will be in good hands, and we’re all looking forward to Chris doing well in a car which will remain special to us!”
Chris plans to start using the car next season, however there has been mention of a debut at Blyton in November. Some of you will remember that Blyton was also the car’s debut event with Paul at the wheel, and it didn’t go well with engine failure on SS1.
We’ll be updating the website with Chris’ progress, so check back here and make sure you give him a cheer and a wave if you see him on a rally!
As for what’s next for Teamwoodspeed, Paul is keeping his options open for the time being. Suggestions on a postcard to the usual address please…
