Joseph Martin - Ford Ka
Joseph Martin is the lucky person who gets to drive this race prepared Ford Ka in the Malta National Autocross Championship.
The car is heavily modified, as you can see in the picture, and is owned by Martin Godwin as part of a two car team.
Based on a 2005 Japanese model, the Ka’s 1300 HSC engine features a fully ported and gas flowed cylinder head bolted to a fully balanced block and Wiseco pistons. A Unichip ECU and Weber Carburetor finish the job under the bonnet.
Gaz Gold coil over suspension and compomotive wheels are among the rest of the spec, and by the look of it, Team helper Charles Nick (aka The Flower – don’t ask!) keeps the car in good shape while it is competing.
We’re pleased to see the important message being delivered by the team, as Joseph leads the field ahead of the Autologic sister car.
